Fabulous Favorite Friday

Digg!

Happy Friday everyone! I'd like to ask all of you to keep me in your thoughts and prayers this morning. I'm going to be with an endocrinologist about the gestational diabetes. I'm pretty certain they will put me on insulin. I'm just really hoping it is once a day. I'm already doing progesterone shots once a week and I'm tired of being a human pin cushion. So, think good thoughts for me.

One of my latest discoveries that I wanted to feature is a company called Yogi Tea. As you can see, the tea I've got is for pregnant women. But, they have a whole range of teas. These are organic herbal teas. If you know anyone who is dealing with morning sickness, this tea is supposed to help. I haven't had that for a while, but I really do like the taste of this tea and I think it would have helped me.

For those of you who aren't having babies, they offer about 59 different types of teas. With flu and cold season coming up, it might be good to check out some of their offerings. I saw on their website that they have teas to support your immune system, help with a soar throat, cold season sampler, the list goes on and on. Here is their website if you'd like to check them out. http://www.yogitea.com/ I found these at a local store that had a good organic section.

To me there is nothing like a good hot cup of tea to help a rough day. I've had to rely on that these days since my regular Pepsi got taken away due to the gestational diabetes and alcohol is out. LOL

If you order any of these teas and try them, I'd love to hear what kind you got and have you give me a review.

Have a great holiday weekend!

Ok, I made it before midnight

I'd hoped to get a post in sooner today, but when I got home from the doctor's I was exhausted and dealing with a toddler who is well into the throws of the terrible two's. A wine cooler would have tasted so good this afternoon. I keep thinking of George Castanza's father in Seinfeld yelling, "Serenity now, serenity now."

As promised, here a pictures of the little scrapping project I did last night. I have a machine called a Cricut which is an electronic die cut machine. You can put in different cartridges to cut out different shapes. This little cup is a nut cup shape and I used the Tags, Bags, and Boxes Cricut cartridge to make it.

The stamps I used for the words were from a pack I bought a few weeks ago at Joann Fabrics. The stamps were so cute with different fall sentiments. The nut cup template cuts two holes at the top on two sides of the cup and that is where I used the leaf brads that are right above the stamping. I got those and then the felt pieces I used on the other two sides in the $1 spot at Target last fall.

The nurses at my obs office have been so wonderful that I will probably fill a few of these with some goodies and give it to them. This was a fun distraction from all the junk that seems to be going on right now.

I will have a Fabulous Favorite Friday Post tomorrow. So be sure to check back.

There will be a new post today

I've got some stuff going on this a.m., but I will have a new post later today. I was able to do a little scrapbooking project last night and I hope to get pictures posted.

Have a great day! We are dashing rain drops here.
