Today I wanted to share with you an Etsy seller named Harper's HatBox. http://www.etsy.com/shop/HarpersHatBox If you are not familiar with Etsy, it is a wonderful website where you can buy many handmade and vintage items. One of my favorite things to do at night is to pull up the Etsy homepage and just watch all of the new items that are listed on the site. New things are constantly being shown and it is mesmerizing.
I'm excited about Harper's HatBox because this business is my sister's new business and it is named after my sweet niece Harper! Harper is 3 months younger than my youngest son Logan, so it has been fun having the cousins grow up together.
The shop sells beautiful bows, tutus, and flip flops for little girls. My sister even has some collegiate bows and if you don't see what you need she does take custom orders.
My sister is very excited about this business. Her bows are even carried in a local boutique in her area. This business is a labor of love for her and she is so excited when each customer gets their special purchase. She knows the joys of dressing up a little girl in cute accessories.
Yesterday I stumbled on the website of Teresa Guidice one of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. On the show her daughters always have cute hair bows. She has some leopard print hair bows on her website that one of her daughters is modeling. They are a whopping $25. My sister's bows are a lot more reasonable. Can you imagine spending $25 on hair bows? Yikes!
So if you are looking for a special, reasonably priced gift for a special little girl check out the items she has listed on Harper' HatBox.
I hope you are having a great day in your neck of the woods!

Where is August going? And let's talk jeggings
I can't believe it is already the middle of August. I've been so busy this month and it won't get any better until about the first of August. We are trying to get in as much as we can before preschool starts in the fall.
Because I've had so much going on, it has made me so sad that I haven't been able to blog. That is the life of a mom, right?
I've posted a new discussion in my Blog Frog about jeggings. Jeggings= jean leggings in you aren't familiar. So come on over and let me know what you think about them. I'd love to get a great discussion going on them.
Hope you are having a great day, awww heck, a great month of August in your neck of the woods!

Fit to be tied
I've been out of town for a few days and got home to find my Internet down. Now I've discovered my Yahoo account won't work. I'm fit to be tied about it. I really need to get to my emails. I feel like I've lost an arm.
How did we ever survive without all of our wonderful gadgets?
Hope you are having a great week in your neck of the woods.

Purrrrfect Humor
Today I'm leaving to fly out to the Mother's of Preschooler's Conference in Florida. I'm so excited because I've never visited Florida. I can't wait to network with other mom's and to get some much needed rest and relaxation.
Since it is the end of the week, I thought I'd share this crazy picture I found the other night on Etsy. I am always amazed at the things that folks will make to sell on there. Like this outfit for this cat. Is this Grandma Wrinkles from the Real Housewives of New Jersey? I would be seriously afraid this cat would kill me in my sleep. Can you blame it for putting an outfit like that on it? This from the woman who has been known to put a santa suit on her boston terrier. I speak from experience people LOL.
I noticed quite a few shark items on Etsy when I saw this. I guess people are getting into shark week on The Discovery Channel. I'm adding a link to the Etsy shop where you can buy this in case you need a shark outfit for your cat.
I'm taking tomorrow off from blogging, but I'll be back next week. So stay safe out there and always swim with a buddy. And as Jimmy Buffet says, "Fins to the left. Fins to the right..." Well, you know the rest of the song.

Toys R' Us and Crayola
A few weeks ago I blogged about my partnership with Toys R' Us to get the word out about their "I want to be a Toys R' Us Mom" grand opening and store reopenings across the country. I'm excited to share that there will be another event coming up this Friday, August 6th in West Mifflin, PA. So if you live in Pennsylvania and can go and check it out, be sure to go to the store Friday morning. The first 100 mom's get a wonderful goody bag from Toys R' Us. I've seen these bags on another blogger's website and you won't want to miss out on getting one. Who doesn't love getting free stuff?
Also, you'll want to check out this special website http://www.blogger.com/www.iwanttobeatoysrusmom.com before heading to the store. You can go and download your own secret coupon and take it in to the store. You could be the lucky duck who gets a 50% off coupon! Man what I wouldn't do with a 50% off coupon at Toys R' Us!
For those of you who don't live in the PA area, I'd still recommend checking out Toys R' Us this week. They've got a great Crayola sale going on now. You can get 4 boxes of the 24 classic Crayolas for $1. Finger paints are $3, paint smocks are $2, scissors are $1, and there are many other Crayola products on sale too. If you don't need 4 boxes of crayons, I'd still buy them at that price. They would make a wonderful donation to schools. The schools in our area always need extra supplies.
Another idea is to buy these supplies and fill shoe boxs to give to the Samaritan's Purse organization. My MOPS group and church does this every Christmas. Wouldn't it be great to be able to fill a few shoe boxes with crayons, scissors, etc? http://www.samaritanspurse.org/
If you make it to the Pennsylvania grand opening be sure to let me know. I'd love to hear about your Toys R' Us adventure!
p.s. There will be a number of these events across the country so if you visit the website you can see when an event will be taking place near you.
So the FTC is happy, I want to share that I am receiving a promotional incentive from Toys“R”Us as a thank you for telling my blog readers about the Grand Opening weekends.
