I think it must be the constant yo-yo I'm feeling with the weather that is making me yearn for spring and planning some light gardening. I know that I can't do anything here until probably late April, but it is nice to think that winter is almost over.
I did get crazy the other day and bought a really cool hanging basket stand at Wal Mart. They have some really beautiful Better Homes and Garden products. I've learned the hard way if you see something cute like that then you better buy it when you see it because it won't be there as the weather gets warmer. Of course they are calling for a chance of snow showers here tomorrow evening, so much for warmer weather.
I'd love to start some seeds inside, but trying to find a place where little hands can't get in the dirt is a challenge. I think the boys would enjoy helping and watching seedlings grow.
So, do you yearn for spring and gardening? What are you planning once the weather finally turns warm and stable?

I am yearning for Spring as well! One thought, my grandmother always started her seeds on top of her fridge. They didn't really get any light there but the warmth from the fridge did the trick and they would be way high!
Me too. I actually bought a small indoor palm tree over the weekend for my living room. It just makes me happy.
