Who doesn't love free stuff?

Today I wanted to share about a really cool program I recently found out about. I received an email from Old Navy asking me if I'd like to be part of their style council. It sounded like a really cool program, so I signed up.  Old Navy has a group called Crowdtap who is coordinating the program for them, as well as programs for other companies.

The website is neat because once you join, you can log in and participate in short polls they call "Quick Hits".  The ones I've seen are multiple choice so they take no time to do and sometimes you can win money doing it. Just the other day I won $1.  Once you reach ten dollars you can cash out.  They also make a donation to a charity you choose. I chose the Red Cross because I know they do such good work and they are helping in Japan right now, among other places. 

The thing I'm excited about is that you can get some really cool free products from companies.  Last week some folks who were  in Crowdtap got coupons for a free dress from Old Navy.  Unfortunately, I didn't get that one, but I can't wait to see what I get when they roll out their next program.  Other companies I've seen mentioned on the site are: Playtex and Entenmanns, Goldfish, and as well as some other companies not mentioned by name (i.e. leading spirits company). I'd love to get free stuff from them.

You can only join Crowdtap by invitation.  So, I wanted to invite any of you who might be interested to join.  Disclaimer that it does help me out if you join under me - help me level up folks so I can qualify for Old Navy's cool stuff next time. End of Summer Shopping at Old Navy

The other day I got a chance to stop by Old Navy and wow have they got a lot of stuff on sale. I've found that this is a great time of the year to pick up basics like t-shirts and tank tops. Those are pieces that I wear year round. I find that they are great to layer.

And I'm in love with some of the fall clothes Old Navy has out right now. We are in the midst of getting ready for back to school for preschool, so that has been keeping us busy this week. Between the long school supply list we were given and getting haircuts, etc. we have been hopping.

Fabulous Favorite Friday

Happy Friday everyone! It looks like we made it through the winter. Today is the first day of spring. It couldn't have gotten here any sooner. I'm ready for warm winter and for flu and cold season to be over. I've always been a spring/summer person. I love warm weather. It could stay 70 degrees and sunny year round and I'd be happy.

With warm weather right around the corner, I wanted to share with you my new favorite capris. I just got these last week at Old Navy. I loved them so much when I tried them on in the store that I got two pairs of them.

I have to digress for a moment and tell you my good fortune and why I was even shopping last week. Last Thursday I was up late feeding the baby so I tried to get on the Old Navy website they've been updating with their coupons. I found one of their $75 off a $100 purchase coupons and was able to get one. So, I got an awesome little shopping spree for only spending $25. By the way, they've stopped putting these good coupons on their websites for now because people found them so quickly and also their website crashed a couple of times. I'm glad I was blessed to get it while I could.

So, back to the capris. They are called Slim Stretch Capris and they are $15.00. They fit like a dream and they look dressy but are so comfy. I wore one of the pairs out today with a black t-shirt and they looked great and pulled together. I think it is great when you can wear something that doesn't look sloppy, but is still comfortable.

I have to say that I've been disappointed with Old Navy over the last year, but I feel like the new things they have out for spring and summer are really great. They stepped it up.

Fabulous Favorite Friday

Happy Friday everyone! The sun is shining and the thermometer is going on up. We had snow here on Monday and today I'm wearing capris. You've got to love Mother Nature's sense of humor.
Today my Fabulous Favorite Friday pick are jeans from Old Navy. Right now they've got a sale on them and it is a great time to pick some up. I have to admit I'm a shorty at only 5' 1" and it is hard for me to find jeans. The last time I bought jeans was 2 years ago at Old Navy. I was so sad they didn't have any last year that worked for me. But, I was in last Friday and found these. They are called "The Flirt" and they are mid rise boot cut jeans. They are $19 on sale. Here I am modeling them. Just kidding. Don't I wish I looked that good in mine. I love it that Old Navy's jean sizes come in short, regular and long. So, there is something for everyone.
