Colonial Williamsburg Christmas Decorations

Digg!
Merry after Christmas!  I don't know where the time has gone, or where it is going.  We have been busy having fun and we had a wonderful Christmas.  I was so happy that none of my kids got sick and they have been so excited about visiting Santa and then having him come to deliver presents.  We've had some late nights, so we are all trying to rest up and stay home a little bit.

Before Christmas, dh and I were able to sneak away and spend a day in Colonial Williamsburg.  We always love walking around the historic area and looking at the decorations.  It is amazing what they can do with the natural flora and fauna in the area.  As you can see from the many pictures below, they used things like pomegranates, feathers, playing cards, dolls, shells, bird houses, etc.  In some of the pictures you will see ribbons. Apparently they have a contest every year and some of them are awarded ribbons.

If you've never been to Colonial Williamsburg before, I'd encourage you to come and take a trip to visit.  It is amazing to think that our fore fathers lived there. The history in the area is amazing and it is a beautiful area to visit.

I hope you enjoy these pictures and I hope to get some more holiday picture posts up before the end of the year.  Which is funny to say since the end of the year is at the end of this week. LOL

Hope you are having a great day in your neck of the woods!

p.s.  I have a favor to ask if you are so inclined. I joined a deal website called NoMoreRack a few months ago. They send out daily deals.  I purchased a jacket and shirt for only $8 last month.  Shipping is only $2 on each item.  They have rewards that if you have friends sign up, you can get great prizes. I'm trying to get 25 friends to sign up because I can get my boys a remote control helicopter for free.  You don't have to give any credit card info, just create an account following my referral link.  NoMoreRack Referral Link please click here

So, if you wouldn't mind doing it for me I would so appreciate it.  My husband's uncle has had a remote control helicopter at a few family functions this holiday and the boys have loved it.
